Ingredients (4 persons): 200 ml quality extra virgin olive oil, 1 large clove of garlic, half a red pepper, 1 teaspoon of balsamic vinegar, 1 tablespoon of dried basil, 1 tablespoon of dried oregano, pepper and salt to taste.
Preparation: Crush the garlic as finely as possible and chop the red pepper into small pieces. Put the extra virgin olive oil in a bowl and add the balsamic vinegar and mix well. Now add the garlic, pepper and dried herbs and season with salt and pepper.
Tip: For an extra 'fresh', grate the peel of a lemon and add it to the dip to your own taste!
For maximum flavour, leave the dip (covered) at room temperature for at least an hour. Mix well before serving. Enjoy!
